An interesting and disturbing concept!

On a purely practical note, if "she was wearing a neck-to-ankle jumpsuit" it will be a nightmare both for her and the authorities every time she needs to go to the bathroom, what with the unstrapping, complete undressing and then re-dressing and re-strapping afterwards. Much of the 72 hours will be lost.

To maximise the productivity of the staff, it would not be surprising if the authorities require all female patients in particular to wear diapers and plastic panties for the duration of their hold. Detainees would be changed at breakfast time, mid-afternoon and bedtime.

The task would be speeded-up further if women are simply forbidden from wearing trousers, shorts or jumpsuits.

Of course there will be complaints that this is too undignified.

It is well known that diapers may be worn under pantyhose without any problem.

The authorities could simply order that thick medical-grade pantyhose are compulsory and a practical dress code for detainees thus enforced.

In the interests of equality, any transgender and male patients could opt-in to this scheme if they wish.
